Bill Marco is the founder of Marco Wealth Strategies Group, Inc. He works predominately with business owners and individuals on their unique financial planning needs and has been dedicated to financial services for over 20 years. His focus is on assisting clients in creating, preserving and transferring assets while minimizing taxes, and implementing strategies to mitigate risk.
Marco Wealth Strategies Group utilizes a disciplined approach which concentrates on the 13 wealth management issues that are critical for clients to address. They provide a very high level of service to clients due to the vast resources available through their broker dealer, First Allied Securities, Inc.
Their approach to retirement planning uses an Income for Life Strategy to help clients not outlive income in their retirement years. They also analyze Social Security options and implement customized Claiming Strategies designed to maximize Social Security income received over an individual's lifetime. They also assist clients with wealth transfer reregistration of assets to meet Irrevocable and Revocable Trust requirements.
The firm works closely with members of organizations such as National Grid TWU local 101 and the NYC Department of Sanitation Retirees Association. Bill sits on the Board of Directors for the following organizations - Senior Umbrella Network Brooklyn (SUNB), the Pleasant Plains, Richmond Valley Princes Bay Civic Association. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of YMCA. Clients listed are based on geographical location. He is a regular presenter of financial topics, such as, Social Security, Women and Investing, and Estate Planning Preparation at local YMCA's and Jewish Community Centers (JCC).
Bill Marco holds a Certified Wealth Strategist ® (CWS) designation from Cannon Financial Institute, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist ® (AAMS) designation from the College of Financial Planning and is also designated as a Certified Retirement Counselor ® (CRC) from The International Foundation for Retirement Education®.
Bill has been a participant on Fox Business Charles Payne’s “Invested In You”, a frequent guest on financial radio shows such as 970AM The Answer, and WCTC 1450, as well as a panel guest on local cable SICTV show. He was featured in an Investment News article by Mary Beth Franklin “Future retirees focus on reducing taxes”. Bill was also the 2018 Kings of Staten Island recipient, an award which recognizes special service to the Staten Island community as well as, the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.
The firm is a supporter of local groups and charities2, giving back to the community through such programs as the American Cancer Team Determination, The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Wounded Warriors Project, and SI Project Home Front.
Bill lives in South East Annadale, Staten Island, with his wife, Donna, and their three children (Alyssa, Billy, and Gabrielle) and two grandchildren (Joseph and Lilianna). In his free time Bill enjoys making wine, exercising, and is an avid reader.
